Websites, client portals and automation for accounting firms
Websites that show what the firm does, client portals for handing in records, and reminders before VAT and year-end. We rebuilt aboutvalue.se.
What usually gets in the way
Records that arrive late
Receipts, bank statements and payroll lists are chased by email every month, and most of it arrives the day before the deadline.
The inbox as an archive
Attachments with personal ID numbers and payslips sit in inboxes and are hard to find when they're needed.
The same question from ten clients
How far have you got with the year-end? The client wants to know, and the only way to find out is to call.
A website that says what everyone says
Bookkeeping, payroll and year-end are on every firm's website. What makes you different doesn't show.
What we can build for you
A website that shows what the firm does
Services, prices and who you're right for, on a website the firm updates itself. Like aboutvalue.se, which we rebuilt.
About WebsitesA client portal for records and status
Clients sign in with BankID, upload their records, see what's missing and follow the year-end step by step.
About Client portalsReminders that send themselves
Automatic reminders before VAT, payroll and year-end, with a list of what's missing per client.
About Automation & reportsAI that reads receipts and invoices
AI reads the records and suggests the bookkeeping entry. An accountant approves before anything is booked.
About AI for businessesConnected to Fortnox and Visma
Clients, engagements and time come from the firm's systems, so the portal and the accounts show the same thing.
About Integrations
Systems, standards and rules
- Fortnox and Visma
- The firm's and its clients' finance systems, through their APIs.
- SIE
- The standard file format for moving bookkeeping data between Swedish finance systems.
- BankID
- Sweden's e-ID, for secure sign-in to the portal and signing of powers of attorney and agreements.
- Tax Agency and Companies Registration Office dates
- Filing and submission dates drive the reminders, so no deadline is forgotten.
- Anti-money laundering rules
- Accounting firms must know their clients. The details can be collected and renewed in the portal.
- Peppol and e-invoicing
- Invoices in the format public sector customers require.

How it works
Prototype and design system
Tell us what you want to build and we'll make a clickable prototype and a design system for it. Free, so you see what you get before you decide. If a project doesn't need a prototype, we do a free audit or workshop instead.
Needs, requirements and plan
We go through how you work today and what gets in the way. It becomes a requirements document and a plan where what makes the biggest difference gets built first, and a proposal with a fixed price per stage.
Kickoff workshop
Us, you and the people who'll use it, in one room. We agree what's included and walk out with a plan and the first stage under way.
Follow-up
We build in short rounds with a demo after each. After launch we follow up against the goals and improve what matters most.
Why a micro studio?
An accounting firm knows that small mistakes have big consequences. We work the same way: few people, clear responsibility and a fixed price per stage, so you know what's delivered and who did it.
We are three people: Christos Potamitis, Olof Öhrn and Max Rosberg Somerlock. The people you meet in the first meeting are the same three who design, build and run it afterwards.
The same people all the way
Olof is your contact from the first meeting through the whole project, and the three of us work so closely that what you tell us reaches the people who build.
Quick decisions
Questions get quick answers and decisions get made in the meeting. You talk directly to whoever can answer, not someone who has to go and ask.
A fixed price per stage
The project is split into stages with a fixed price for each. You know what the next step costs before it starts, and you can change direction between stages.
A network for the rest
What we don't do ourselves, such as IT operations and infrastructure, is done by hand-picked partners. You still have one contact: us.
It also sets a limit, and we're honest about it. We take on a few projects at a time, and if we're not right for yours, we'll tell you on the first call.
Frequently asked questions
- A signed-in page where clients hand in their records, see what's missing and follow the status of bookkeeping, payroll and year-end. The firm stops chasing records by email, and the client always knows where things stand.
- Yes. Clients and engagements can come from Fortnox and records can be sent there, so the same details aren't entered twice. If you use Visma, we connect to that instead.
- AI can read receipts and invoices and suggest entries, but an accountant should approve them. Responsibility for the books stays with people, and that's how we build it.
- The portal is built with BankID sign-in, access per client, encryption and a log of who did what, and the data can be stored within the EU.
Tell us how you work today
A first conversation costs nothing. We listen, ask questions and tell you honestly whether and how we can help.
