What usually gets in the way

  1. Jobs that live on someone's phone

Requests arrive by phone, text and email, and the schedule is in one person's head. If they're off sick, nobody knows who should be where.

  2. Time and materials lost on the way

What gets written on a note in the van doesn't always reach the office. What doesn't reach the office never gets invoiced.

  3. Missing ROT details

Personal ID numbers, property designations and labour costs have to be right for the ROT tax relief to go through. Anything missing means another call to the customer.

  4. Customers asking when you'll arrive

The customer calls the office, and the office calls the technician. A simple text would have done.

What we can build for you

  • Work orders on the phone

The job with address, description and contact details. The technician logs time, materials and photos on site.

    About App development
  • Job scheduling

See who is where and assign new jobs in a calendar, without calling around.

    About Business systems
  • Checklists and customer sign-off

Checklists, photos and the customer's signature are saved on the work order, so you can show what was done.

    About App development
  • From work order to invoice

Finished jobs become invoicing data in Fortnox or Visma, with ROT and RUT details when they're needed.

    About Integrations
  • Bookings and requests on your website

Customers book a service visit or send a request on your website, and it arrives as a job straight away.

    About Booking systems

Systems, standards and rules

Using something else? We connect to most systems that have an API.
ROT and RUT
Sweden's tax relief for home repairs and services. The details are collected on the work order, not when the invoice goes out.
Fortnox and Visma
Customers, items and invoicing data sync, so they only live in one place.
E numbers and RSK numbers
Items from your wholesaler's price file, with the industry's own numbers for electrical and plumbing products.
Staff register
If you work on construction sites, the Swedish Tax Agency's rules apply. Check-in can live in the same app as your work orders.
Text messages and email
Automatic updates for the customer: booking confirmed, technician on the way, job done.
BankID
Sweden's e-ID. The customer can accept a quote or sign off a finished job with it.

How it works

  1. Prototype and design system

Tell us what you want to build and we'll make a clickable prototype and a design system for it. Free, so you see what you get before you decide. If a project doesn't need a prototype, we do a free audit or workshop instead.

  2. Needs, requirements and plan

We go through how you work today and what gets in the way. It becomes a requirements document and a plan where what makes the biggest difference gets built first, and a proposal with a fixed price per stage.

  3. Kickoff workshop

Us, you and the people who'll use it, in one room. We agree what's included and walk out with a plan and the first stage under way.

  4. Follow-up

We build in short rounds with a demo after each. After launch we follow up against the goals and improve what matters most.

More on how we work

Why a micro studio?

A service company with five or fifteen technicians needs a tool that fits how they plan, not a giant platform that needs its own administrator. We build what's needed and add more as you grow.

We are three people: Christos Potamitis, Olof Öhrn and Max Rosberg Somerlock. The people you meet in the first meeting are the same three who design, build and run it afterwards.

  • The same people all the way

Olof is your contact from the first meeting through the whole project, and the three of us work so closely that what you tell us reaches the people who build.

  • Quick decisions

Questions get quick answers and decisions get made in the meeting. You talk directly to whoever can answer, not someone who has to go and ask.

  • A fixed price per stage

The project is split into stages with a fixed price for each. You know what the next step costs before it starts, and you can change direction between stages.

  • A network for the rest

What we don't do ourselves, such as IT operations and infrastructure, is done by hand-picked partners. You still have one contact: us.

It also sets a limit, and we're honest about it. We take on a few projects at a time, and if we're not right for yours, we'll tell you on the first call.

Frequently asked questions

  • A work order describes a job: what needs doing, where, for whom and by whom. It also collects time and materials, so the right things end up on the invoice.
  • Customer and address, what needs doing, who does it, the time and materials used, and the customer's sign-off when the job is done. For ROT tax relief you also need the customer's personal ID number and property designation.
  • A work order system keeps every job in one place: new requests, scheduled jobs, work in progress and what's ready to invoice. Technicians see their jobs on the phone and the office sees how everything is going.
  • It can be built that way. The technician logs work as usual in a basement or out in the countryside, and the data is sent once the phone has signal again.
