Warehouse systems and WMS for wholesalers and warehouses
Stock levels, barcode picking, stocktaking and orders in one system, connected to Fortnox, Visma or your ERP, and built around your warehouse.
What usually gets in the way
Stock levels that don't add up
The system says ten, the shelf says three. Every mistake becomes a call to a customer or a back order.
Pick lists on paper
Pickers walk the wrong route and hunt for goods that have moved. New staff take a long time to find their way.
Orders from five directions
Online shop, email, phone and resellers. Everything is typed into the ERP by hand, and that's where the errors creep in.
Stocktaking once a year
You close up and count everything by hand, and then it's a year until the next check.
What we can build for you
Stock levels you can trust
Stock updates with every delivery in, pick, move and shipment, per location.
About Business systemsBarcode picking and stocktaking
Scan with a phone or a handheld, with pick lists in shelf order and rolling stock counts.
About App developmentOrder management
Orders from your online shop, email and resellers land in one place and go on to Fortnox, Visma or your ERP.
About IntegrationsOrdering portal for customers
Your customers place orders, see their prices and follow deliveries themselves.
About Client portalsShipping labels and consignment notes
Labels and consignment notes print straight from the order, and the customer gets the tracking link automatically.
About Automation & reports
Systems, standards and rules
- Barcodes and GS1
- EAN codes (GTIN) on items and SSCC on pallets, read with a phone or a handheld.
- Fortnox and Visma
- Items, stock levels, orders and invoices sync with your accounts.
- ERP systems
- If you run a larger ERP, items and orders come from there and the warehouse reports back.
- Shipping
- Consignment notes and tracking through nShift or the carriers' own services.
- EDI
- Orders and delivery notices with larger customers and suppliers, in the format they require.
- Staff register for wholesalers
- Wholesalers of food or tobacco in Sweden must keep a staff register. Check-in can live in the same system.
How it works
Prototype and design system
Tell us what you want to build and we'll make a clickable prototype and a design system for it. Free, so you see what you get before you decide. If a project doesn't need a prototype, we do a free audit or workshop instead.
Needs, requirements and plan
We go through how you work today and what gets in the way. It becomes a requirements document and a plan where what makes the biggest difference gets built first, and a proposal with a fixed price per stage.
Kickoff workshop
Us, you and the people who'll use it, in one room. We agree what's included and walk out with a plan and the first stage under way.
Follow-up
We build in short rounds with a demo after each. After launch we follow up against the goals and improve what matters most.
Why a micro studio?
Every warehouse has its own habits: how the shelves are numbered, who picks what, which customers go first. We build the system around those habits instead of asking you to change them to suit an off-the-shelf product.
We are three people: Christos Potamitis, Olof Öhrn and Max Rosberg Somerlock. The people you meet in the first meeting are the same three who design, build and run it afterwards.
The same people all the way
Olof is your contact from the first meeting through the whole project, and the three of us work so closely that what you tell us reaches the people who build.
Quick decisions
Questions get quick answers and decisions get made in the meeting. You talk directly to whoever can answer, not someone who has to go and ask.
A fixed price per stage
The project is split into stages with a fixed price for each. You know what the next step costs before it starts, and you can change direction between stages.
A network for the rest
What we don't do ourselves, such as IT operations and infrastructure, is done by hand-picked partners. You still have one contact: us.
It also sets a limit, and we're honest about it. We take on a few projects at a time, and if we're not right for yours, we'll tell you on the first call.
Frequently asked questions
- A WMS (warehouse management system) runs the work in the warehouse: where goods are, what to pick and in which order, and what's coming in and going out.
- An ERP keeps track of the finances and what the stock is worth. A warehouse system runs the work on the floor: picking, locations, stocktaking and deliveries. Often you need both, connected.
- Yes. Items, stock levels and orders can sync with Fortnox, so they only need keeping up to date in one place.
- Not to begin with. Many start with phones that scan with the camera and move to handhelds with built-in scanners when volumes call for it.
